𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆: Muhammad Anwar, from Nidavari in the Tharparkar district, has been making and selling mawa and milk for many years. However, he struggled to meet demand, especially when receiving bulk orders for wedding ceremonies, due to the lack of a storage facility. His application for a matching grant was approved, and he received 2,500,000 rupees (25 lakhs) from Thardeep Rural Development Programme. With the support of the grant, Muhammad Anwar constructed two rooms, installed a solar system, set up storage equipment, and transitioned his small plant from wood fuel to solar energy. As a result, profits have been boosted, the quality of the milk has improved, and bulk sales have become possible. Muhammad Anwar says that he is currently saving 30 to 35% of total sales and extends his gratitude to TRDP, PPAF, and ITC for the matching grant that significantly improved his business.
